Semua pelajar di Malaysia akan menikmati cuti Hari Jadi Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sarawak 2027 berdasarkan kumpulan sekolah mereka pada tahun 2027. Tarikh-tarikh ini akan membantu para pelajar, ibu bapa dan juga para pengajar merancang perayaan dan pengaturan perjalanan mereka dengan berkesan.

Group A

(Kedah, Kelantan, Terengganu)

9 Oktober 2027 (Sabtu) – Cuti persekolahan biasa pada hari tersebut. Tiada cuti tambahan.

Group B

(Mellaka, Johor, Negeri Sembilan, Pahang, Perak, Perlis, Penang, Sabah, Sarawak, Selangor, WP Kuala Lumpur, WP Labuan and WP Putrajaya)

9 Oktober 2027 (Sabtu) – Cuti persekolahan biasa di semua negeri. Tiada cuti tambahan.

Sarawak Governor's Birthday Celebration in Malaysia

The Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sarawak is the supreme head of government for the entire state of Sarawak. He is appointed by His Majesty the Yang di-Pertuan Agong after receiving advice from the Premier of Sarawak. The Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sarawak can also be known as the Governor of Sarawak. The term of office of the Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sarawak is four years, and can still be extended up to a maximum of six years.

The official residence of the Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sarawak is located in Astana, on the northern bank of the Sarawak River, Kuching.

Every year on the second Saturday of October, Sarawak celebrates the Birthday of the Yang di-Pertua Negeri of Sarawak, celebrating the official birthday of its ceremonial head, the Yang di-Pertua Negeri.

Sarawak does not have a hereditary king, instead, it is led by a federally appointed governor known as the Yang di-Pertua Negeri.

Governor of Sarawak the latest is – Tun Pehin Sri Dr. Haji Wan Junaidi bin Tuanku Jaafar. He was appointed as the Yang di-Pertua Negeri of Sarawak on 26 January 2024
