Tarikh Hari Hol Pahang 2027, sambutan Hari Hol Pahang, cuti sekolah dan cuti umum, mengingatkan kita bahawa Hari Hol Pahang merupakan hari memperingati kemangkatan Sultan Pahang yang terdahulu. Kamus Dewan telah mendefinisikan bahawa Hol bermaksud kenduri arwah yang diadakan setahun sekali.
In this context, Hol Day in Pahang is a day to commemorate the passing of the royal family in the state. Hol Day was declared a public holiday in Pahang starting in 1974 to commemorate the passing of the late Sultan Abu Bakar Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mu'azzam Shah, the fourth Sultan of modern Pahang.
He was born on Sunday, 29 May 1904 and is also the son of the late Sultan Abdullah Al-Mu'tassim Billah Shah Ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Ahmad Al-Mu'azzam Shah and Che Kalsum binti Abdullah.
Sultan Abu Bakar Ri'ayatuddin ruled from 1932 until his death in 1974. He is remembered for guiding Pahang through turbulent times, including World War II and Malaya's transition to independence. Under his rule, Pahang saw significant progress in infrastructure, education, and state administration.
Hol Pahang Day is marked by religious ceremonies, memorial ceremonies and honoring the legacy of the former ruler.
