HARI HOL ALMARHUM SULTAN ISKANDAR
The date of the Hol Almarhum Sultan Iskandar 2027, school and public holidays, reminds us that the state of Johor commemorates the passing of the late Sultan Iskandar, the Sultan of Johor. The date changes every year as it is based on the Hijri calendar.
In Johor, the hari Hol Almarhum Sultan Iskandar is an important public holiday to commemorate the services and contributions of the late Sultan Iskandar to the state of Johor.
If you refer to the 2027 federal and state public holiday schedule by kabinet.gov.my, Hari Hol Almarhum Sultan Iskandar 2027 will fall on:

The tradition of “Hari Hol” began in 1896, when Sultan Abu Bakar passed away—establishing a practice of honoring the passing of past sultans. It continued for over a century.
Holi is a day to pray and ask for forgiveness for the sins of former sultans, as well as to remember their merits.
A major ceremony took place at the Royal Tombs. The reigning Sultan placed flowers and poured perfumed water on the Sultan's grave. Senior government officials—including district officials, members of the legislature, and religious authorities—took part in the ceremony.
It maintains the honor of commemorating royal contributions to the welfare and identity of the nation.
