Sultan of Perak's Birthday Celebration in Malaysia

The latest Sultan of Perak Darul Ridzuan – His Majesty Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah Ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Azlan Muhibbuddin Shah Al-Maghfur-Lah, is the 35th Sultan of Perak Darul Ridzuan. Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah ascended the throne on 29 May 2014, becoming the 35th Sultan of Perak.

Originally, his birthday was celebrated on November 27, his actual date of birth, but starting in 2018, the holiday was officially moved to the first Friday of November to standardize the timing of the celebration.

He is the first child and eldest son of the 34th Sultan of Perak Darul Ridzuan, the late Sultan Azlan Muhibbuddin Shah Al-Maghfur-Lah and the Raja Permaisuri Tuanku Bainun.

Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah is the ruling monarch of the state of Perak Darul Ridzuan and is the head of state and the head of the state's Islamic religion. The reign of Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah began on 29 May 2014 until now.

The Queen Mother of Perak is Tuanku Zara Salim. Tuanku Zara Salim, who was born on 22 March 1973, is the Queen Mother of Perak Darul Ridzuan.
