Israk and Mikraj is celebrated every year on the 27th day of Rajab in the Islamic lunar calendar. This greatest event in Islamic history is considered a gift from ALLAH SWT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Israk refers to the Prophet&#039;s journey from Mecca to Jerusalem on the celestial horse Buraq, while Mikraj describes his ascension through the seven heavens into the divine presence. It was during this journey that the five daily prayers were established.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Date of Israk and Mikraj 2027<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Announcement of the Official Holiday Date for Israk and Mikraj 2027<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If you refer to the 2027 federal and state public holiday schedule by kabinet.gov.my, Hari Israk dan Mikraj will be celebrated in Malaysia on:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>January 6, 2027 (Wednesday)<\/strong> \u2013 Israk and Mikraj Day (Kedah, Negeri Sembilan, Perlis &amp; Terengganu)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>December 26, 2027 (Sunday)<\/strong> \u2013 Israk and Mikraj Day (Kedah, Negeri Sembilan, Perlis &amp; Terengganu)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><strong>January <\/strong>2027<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>December 2027<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">School Holidays in Conjunction with Public Holidays for Israk and Mikraj 2027<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>All students in Malaysia will enjoy the Hari Israk and Mikraj holidays based on their school group in 2027. These dates will help students, parents, and even teachers plan their celebrations and travel arrangements effectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Group A<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>(Kedah, Kelantan, Terengganu)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>6 January 2027 (Wednesday) \u2013 School holiday in all states except Kelantan<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>26 December 2027 (Sunday) \u2013 During the final school holiday of the 2027\/2028 Session<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Group B<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>(Mellaka, Johor, Negeri Sembilan, Pahang, Perak, Perlis, Penang, Sabah, Sarawak, Selangor, WP Kuala Lumpur, WP Labuan and WP Putrajaya)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>6 January 2027 (Wednesday) \u2013 School holiday in Negeri Sembilan and Perlis only. Normal school day for other states on that day. No additional holiday<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>26 December 2027 (Sunday) \u2013 During the final school holiday of the 2027\/2028 Session<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If you plan ahead, keep in mind that the school will follow the government&#039;s public holiday schedule without additional holidays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ministry of Education has not announced any special\/additional arrangements for the celebration of Hari Israk and Mikraj 2027. You can check the official KPM portal for any latest information on the academic calendar as the celebration date approaches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Celebration of Israk and Mikraj Day in Malaysia<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Every year on the 27th day of Rajab in the Islamic lunar calendar, Malaysia celebrates Israk and Mikraj, commemorating the miraculous Night Journey and Ascension of the Prophet Muhammad. Israk refers to the Prophet&#039;s journey from Mecca to Jerusalem on the celestial horse Buraq, while Mikraj describes his ascension through the seven heavens into the presence of God. It was during this journey that the five daily prayers were established.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Israk refers to the journey of the Prophet Muhammad SAW from the Masjidil Haram (Mecca) to the Masjidil Aqsa (Aqsa Mosque), riding a mount called Buraq. Mikraj refers to the journey of the Prophet Muhammad SAW from the Masjidil Aqsa to Sidratul Muntaha (the seventh heaven). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the Mikraj, the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) received the command to pray five times a day and night from Allah SWT.
