It is a time of pride in heritage and celebration for Malaysians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The current Yang di-Pertuan Agong is His Majesty the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Ibrahim ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar. He is the 17th Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia and the 24th Sultan of Johor. He was installed as Yang di-Pertuan Agong on 31 January 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Date of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong&#039;s Birthday 2027<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Announcement of the Official Date of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong&#039;s Birthday Holiday 2027<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If you refer to the 2027 federal and state public holiday schedule by kabinet.gov.my, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong&#039;s Birthday will be celebrated in Malaysia on:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>June 7, 2027 (Monday)<\/strong> \u2013 Yang di-Pertuan Agong&#039;s Birthday (all states)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><strong><strong>June <\/strong><\/strong>2027<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">School Holidays in Conjunction with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong&#039;s Birthday Public Holiday 2027<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>All students in Malaysia will enjoy the Yang di-Pertuan Agong&#039;s Birthday holiday 2027 based on their school group in 2027. These dates will help students, parents and even teachers plan their celebrations and travel arrangements effectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Group A<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>(Kedah, Kelantan, Terengganu)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>7 June 2027 (Monday) \u2013 School holiday on that day in all states. No additional holidays<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Group B<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>(Mellaka, Johor, Negeri Sembilan, Pahang, Perak, Perlis, Penang, Sabah, Sarawak, Selangor, WP Kuala Lumpur, WP Labuan and WP Putrajaya)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>7 June 2027 (Monday) \u2013 School holiday on that day in all states. No additional holidays<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If you plan ahead, keep in mind that the school will follow the government&#039;s public holiday schedule without additional holidays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ministry of Education has not announced any special\/additional arrangements for the Yang di-Pertuan Agong&#039;s Birthday Celebration 2027. You can check the official MOE portal for any latest information on the academic calendar as the celebration date approaches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Celebration of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong&#039;s Birthday in Malaysia<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Yang di-Pertuan Agong&#039;s Birthday is a national public holiday celebrated throughout the country. The YDP Agong&#039;s Birthday Celebration marks the official birthday of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, the constitutional monarch and head of state of Malaysia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This celebration is one of Malaysia&#039;s most important national celebrations, combining tradition, respect for the monarchy, and the community&#039;s appreciation for leadership and unity. Individuals who have rendered services are recognized with titles, medals and awards bestowed by the Agong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The honours presented today celebrate Malaysians who have made a positive impact on the country in areas such as education, welfare, business and innovation.
